CT-Engineering Icebox Cold air intake systems utilize a unique design to pull cooler air from outside the engine compartment while keeping the filter element in the engine compartment for easy servicing. This ensures that denser cold air is getting to the engine, resulting in more power. An added benefit is less intake noise since our design encloses the filter in the air box. Our systems are designed to replace the standard, restrictive air intake and are dyno tuned to add 5 to 9 horsepower, depending on the application. The air boxes fit in the engine compartment with no modifications and all the kits use a two stage CT-Engineering / Uni foam air filter that can be cleaned and reused. A can of filter oil is included along with the instructions and all necessary mounting hardware. All CT-Engineering air intake kits are 50 state emissions legal.
